NMDC Energy named GMA Sustainability Champion for 2026
NMDC Energy has been named GMA’s 2026 Sustainability Champion, recognizing its commitment to more sustainable practices and responsible resource management.
Through the recovery and recycling of garnet, NMDC Energy is helping to reduce waste and make better use of resources across its operations. Their approach demonstrates how practical changes on site can contribute to broader sustainability outcomes.
GMA and KAEFER Partner on Sustainability in Saudi Arabia
KAEFER Saudi Arabia has been a long-standing partner of GMA Garnet™, working together for more than a decade to drive sustainability in abrasive blasting. Through GMA’s Used Garnet Return Rewards Program, KAEFER successfully recycled 7,750 tonnes of used garnet across 2023 and 2024—delivering cost savings of approximately SAR 2.3 million (EUR 0.53 million).
In recognition of these efforts, KAEFER received GMA’s Platinum Award in September 2024 for its leadership in sustainable blasting practices. Looking ahead, the collaboration is set to grow further, with strategic initiatives in 2025 focused on embedding even stronger environmentally responsible processes across operations.
