The TZMI Mineral Sands Congress is an annual event that brings together industry leaders and showcases project updates, end-use markets, market analysis, and regional highlights.

This year, GMA CEO Grant Cox and General Manager of International Sales and Marketing Flynn Cowan (below)  attended the conference, held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Grant presented on "Garnet as a By-Product," showcasing GMA’s expertise and active engagement across various industry sectors.

"It was great to return to the TZMI Congress and see how GMA’s profile has grown since my last visit two years ago," Grant said.

"Events like this provide valuable opportunities to connect with industry peers and engage with updates on end-use markets and regional developments that are shaping our industry. GMA is well respected for the quality of what we do, and our industry peers often seek our insights on garnet market trends to inform their own perspectives and decision-making."

While in Malaysia, Grant and Flynn also visited GMA’s newly opened distribution hub in Port Klang. This strategic expansion reinforces our commitment to providing exceptional service and ensuring the reliable, timely delivery of products across the Asia Pacific region.

Earlier this year, GMA delivered its first bulk shipment to the new facility, direct from Western Australia and has been shipping products to customers throughout the Asia Pacific region since June.
