Our People: Two decades of service

Executive General Manager Global Production Dean Schwarz achieved 20 years of service with GMA in July last year.

Dean joined GMA as Production Manager for the Group’s mining and plant operations in the Midwest of Western Australia and in 2010, he was promoted to General Manager.

In 2015, Dean took on the role as General Manager Global Production and was seconded to USA to lead the expansion of GMA’s mining and processing capacity in the country.

“Processing is such a key part of the consistent  product quality we deliver to our customers. Dean has been an integral part of creating this key point of difference for GMA over his career and is now leading our production focus globally," said GMA CEO Stephen Gobby.

"Not only does he bring significant technical knowledge to GMA, Dean's commitment  to our business is second to none, which we value and appreciate very much," Stephen added.
