GMA Group congratulate Soni John on his appointment in the newly created position of General Manager of GMA’s Middle East region.

Previously the General Manager Garnet Arabia Company (GAC)-Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Bahrain, the newly created position will see Soni oversee operations across the entire Middle East region, Subcontinent and selected countries from Africa and CIS States.

Soni has been with GMA for over 17 years, beginning his journey with the group in 2005 when ex-CEO, and long-time mentor, Mr. Torsten Ketelsen offered him an opportunity to join GMA Garnet Middle East as Sales Manager in Jebel Ali, Dubai.

Since his appointment as General Manager GAC in 2009, Soni has built an excellent team in the Saudi Arabian business, who have developed a very strong market leading position, one which CEO GMA Group, Grant Cox believes will continue across the entire Middle East region.

“Having worked with Soni for the last 8 years I am confident that he is the right leader to enable our team in Dubai to reach their full potential, which inevitably will lead to great outcomes for our business there.”
