GMA unveils new high-tech processing plant in Fairless Hills, USA

GMA unveiled its newest, high-tech processing plant in Fairless Hills, Pennsylvania in USA last year.

The plant was officially opened by GMA CEO Stephen Gobby, GMA Garnet USA President Rod Liebeck, and Joseph Burke, Deputy Secretary of International Business Development for Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

The new processing plant was built in a 21,300 square meter (230,000 square foot) former steel works which is located within an established industrial complex. GMA will now be able to process raw garnet concentrate to the highest standards within the country.

Moreover, the plant is equipped with the latest wet recycling technology that produces the highest quality recycled garnet in the market.

The finished products are packaged and distributed to both the American market, and the garnet abrasive industry worldwide.

This enables GMA to offer our customers a truly sustainable waste disposal solution and in turn, maximise the use of the world’s garnet resources. This new plant builds on GMA’s existing recycling operations in other regions.
