On April 22nd, the GMA Middle East team, alongside VertiDrive and Schmidt Abrasive Blasting, hosted esteemed customers and partners from the Maritime and Shipbuilding Industries in Dammam, Saudi Arabia.

A notable highlight of the event was showcasing the recently launched GMA ToughBlast, a specially engineered blend by GMA designed for the most challenging coating removal jobs. Paired with VertiDrive Robots and Schmidt blasting equipment, the live demonstrations featured a comprehensive solution to optimize blasting operations.

During the technical presentation led by Regional Business Development Manager Ajay Thanki, attendees gained deeper insight into how GMA ToughBlast cuts and cleans faster than other abrasives, while also being a safer abrasive choice compared to copper slag. As a result, GMA ToughBlast creates a more consistent profile, ensuring optimal surface preparation for coating application.
