As the COVID-19 restrictions ease, making face-to-face meetings possible, our sales teams around the world are delighted to be able meet our customers and visitors at trade shows and tech days.

Our sales team from Garnet Arabia Company (GAC) - a joint venture between GMA and Global Suhaimi, participated in the BIG 5 show in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia 28 to 31 March 2022.

Big 5 is the largest construction sector exhibition in the country, and the government has also announced three mega projects as part of the Vision 2030 (Red Sea Development, NEOM and Qiddiya Project). The exhibition attracted exhibitors from the real estate developers, architects, contractors, engineers, consultants, manufacturers and various building materials distributors. The event brought together over 15,000 industry professionals and more than 400 exhibitors from 35 countries.

For GAC, we showcased our high-performance abrasive products and spare parts for waterjet cutting users and concrete manufacturers. We received visitors from the largest ready-mix/concrete companies based in Saudi Arabia as well as overseas companies involved in Ultra High Performance Concrete (UHPC) and Geopolymer concrete manufacturers at our booth.

A few days earlier, our European sales team participated in the RPA (Les Rencontres de la Peinture Anticorrosion) exhibition in Paris, France, from 22 to 23 March 2022.

It provides a platform for professionals in the Anticorrosive Painting Sector, project managers, contractors and service providers to learn about the latest innovations and share technical knowledge and field experience through conferences and workshops.

From Paris to Karlsruhe, Germany, our European sales team also took part in PaintExpo 2022. It is the world’s leading trade fair for Industrial Coating Technology which showcases the latest innovations, applications, future technologies and emerging trends covering all aspects of industrial coating.

The trade fair was held from 26 to 29 April 2022 and attracted 430 exhibitors from 27 countries. On top of promoting our high-performance garnet abrasive products, we ran a special competition for our booth visitors to win 1,000kg of PremiumBlast™ garnet. The prize went to Mr Philipp Rogg  from Farben Rogg. Our technical team will also be offering  technical support to optimise the abrasive blasting performance of the company's projects.
