GMA Americas attends 2023 MegaRust Conference

This June, the GMA Americas team attended the 2023 MegaRust conference in Hampton, Virginia.

The annual conference focused on Navy corrosion issues, with attendees hearing from those involved with research and development, design, engineering, construction, maintenance, modernization and operation of naval systems that are potentially affected by corrosion.

Throughout the three-day conference, the team discussed GMA’s range high-performance abrasives to attendees - how they provide the cleanest and most consistent surface for maximum corrosion protection, reducing ongoing maintenance costs of vessels in the harshest conditions, while maintaining a very low dust, safe working environment.

GMA also attended the National Shipbuilding Research Program’s “Surface Prep and Coatings” panel, with improving efficiencies across the American shipyard industrial base and meeting future demands high on the agenda.
