Denver approves GMA Garnet abrasives for Aqua

Waterjet cutting machine producer Denver SpA from San Marino has approved the use of GMA Garnet™ abrasives for the company’s latest CNC waterjet cutting machine – Aqua.

The company has also approved the use of tetraCORE™ orifices on the Aqua which was developed for the stone and glass industry.

After extensive waterjet cutting tests on Denver machines, GMA Garnet 80 and 120 mesh produced consistent, high quality results at every stage of the cutting process.

In addition to the highest purity and accurate sizing of GMA Garnet grains, the ideal cutting combination is to pair it with a high resistant Roctec 500 focusing tube and a robust tetraCORE™ orifice to obtain precise and optimum cutting efficiencies.

TetraCore™ orifices provide longer cutting hours and minimum material waste, resulting in operational excellence. On the basis of this knowledge, Denver developed their waterjet cutting head with a long life waterjet orifice. Its excellent cutting performance and wear resistance are not only outstandingly reliable, but value for money.

Established in 1984, Denver SpA has more than 30 years of experience in mechanical engineering.  The company is a part of a large industrial group that manufactures high-precision mechanical components.

The company’s range of cutting and polishing machines are globally renown as innovative, high performance industrial equipment.

The Acqua waterjet cutting system will be launched this September at the Marmomacc fair 2016 - the leading global exhibition for the natural stone industry in Verona, Italy.
