Celebrating 20 Years of Service – Soni John, General Manager, GMA Middle East

This year marks an important milestone for Soni John, who celebrates 20 years with GMA Garnet Group. During this time, he has played a key role in the growth of GMA Middle East, guiding the region through expansion and building strong connections with customers, partners, and colleagues.

Since joining GMA in 2005, Soni has strengthened operations across the Middle East. His leadership and understanding of the market have supported the region’s continued progress and stability.

Reflecting on Soni’s contribution, Grant Cox, CEO of GMA Garnet Group, said his long career with GMA speaks to his dedication and impact.

“Over the past 20 years, Soni has shown consistent professionalism and leadership,” Grant said.

Throughout his time with GMA, Soni has fostered collaboration across teams and strengthened relationships with customers throughout the region. His ability to connect people, share knowledge, and maintain focus on quality has contributed to GMA’s reputation for reliability and long-term partnerships.

Ajay Thanki, Regional Business Development Manager at GMA Middle East, credits much of the team’s cohesion and customer trust to Soni’s leadership.
