Precision Meets Style: G-STAR RAW Façade Shaped with Waterjet Cutting Technology.

The G-STAR RAW fashion store located in the Atlantis shopping district of Saint-Herblain, Nantes, France, has undergone a striking transformation with the installation of a sleek, modern façade.

The project was delivered by Solucoupe, a specialist in waterjet cutting and machining solutions tailored to commercial and architectural applications.

For this project, STACBOND® - high-end aluminum composite panels in anthracite grey were main materials used in this project. The custom-made folding of these light but high rigidity panels was made with precision to seamlessly integrate with the façade structure. To maintain the structural integrity of the composite and prevent delamination, preliminary drilling was essential to ensure clean and precise cuts.

All façade elements, including the G-STAR RAW logo displayed prominently at the storefront, were produced using abrasive waterjet cutting technology and GMA ClassicCut™ 80 garnet abrasive.
