Security of garnet supply
GMA is the world’s only vertically integrated garnet abrasive supplier. We own our entire supply chain, giving us the highest degree of control over production and product availability. That means customers can count on us for an uninterrupted supply of quality garnet.
We invest heavily in supply chain resilience and make strategic alliances with distributors to continually expand our global footprint. We own and operate mines in Australia and the U.S. and a significant supply source in South Africa, providing the security of multiple garnet resources. We also have ten processing plants and over 180 distribution locations globally.

Reliable performance
The consistent sizing and purity of GMA Garnet™ enable operational efficiency with every bag. Our processing plants lead the industry with specialized wet and dry cleaning and processing capabilities refined over 40 years. Each batch is systematically tested and analyzed across 12 areas of performance, including particle size, mineral composition, turbidity, and chloride content. These efforts always ensure we provide our customers garnet that performs to the highest abrasives standards.

Rigorous QA and QC measures are fundamental to our garnet mining and production. Over 40 years we have constantly improved our production, monitoring, and testing methods, as well as the technologies embedded in our operations. This guarantees GMA Garnet's consistent performance in every batch.
Sampling and testing
Heavy mineral concentrate samples occur every two hours before garnet leaves the mine, at intervals during processing, and again as a final product, so only garnet meeting strict standards gets delivered to our customers. These tests ensure that GMA Garnet™ achieves the highest industry and quality standards.
