David brings more than two decades of experience leading global industrial businesses across diverse markets. Throughout his career, he has held senior roles across sales, marketing, strategy, operations, finance, HR and corporate governance. His leadership journey has included serving as Global Sales Director, undertaking enterprise-level improvement initiatives reporting directly to the ExCom, Global Business Director with responsibility for the operational performance of five manufacturing plants worldwide, and most recently, serving as Senior Commercial Director of a global specialty chemical business.
Reflecting on his appointment, David said he was drawn to GMA by the strength of its technology, products, and legacy.
“I was incredibly impressed by GMA’s technology and the quality of its products. This is an excellent business, built over many years by some of the pioneers of the industry.
“Having worked across many parts of global organizations, I now have the opportunity to bring the whole picture together by leading the Americas business. I am excited to get out into the field, meet with our customers, and understand how we can best support their projects. At the same time, I have a strong focus on people, and I look forward to progressing our organization in ways that deliver value not only for our customers but also for our team.”

David will be based in the United States and will lead the Americas team in serving customers across the region, reinforcing GMA’s commitment to delivering high-performance abrasive solutions backed by dedicated local support.
