Andreas is regarded as the twin of the company. He was the first employee in Europe – the same year GMA Europe was established in 1991. At that time, the GMA office was based at the premise of Jebsen & Jessen in Hamburg. During the initial years, his goal was to promote Australian garnet to the European market.
Under his leadership, the company has grown to become the market leader for the distribution of garnet abrasives in Europe. Furthermore, the team has also built the best possible customer-supplier relationship with partners from all over the region. “It is good to see how GMA Europe has grown from a company with no customers to become the leading European garnet supplier,” Andreas said.
“I like communicating with customers, suppliers, partners and colleagues and being successful in the market. They are all different, but I am sure all of them are convinced that GMA is offering the best value for money solutions.”
Andreas added that over the last 30 years, he had visited so many startup enterprises, and today most of them are very well established in the Waterjet or Blasting industry; they are satisfied GMA Europe customers.
